Sarah did not get where she is today by herself. She has and continues to have many people help her along the way!!
A note from Sarah:
Its not easy to be a professional athlete. Training and coaching takes a lot out of me. I have had many people help me along the way, from motivating me to keep going to sharing with me their professional guidance and expertise.
I want to thank...
my husband and children for sticking with me through all my training, varying moods, bumps, bruises and black eyes! And more thanks to my husband for all the bumps, bruises and black eyes he has let me give him... and even for the ones he's given me!
Matt Ramsey, my strength and conditioning coach. I have never been in such great shape and with Matt's help will continue to improve my conditioning! When I first started working with him I was a mess, luckily he didn't give up on me, conditioning has always been a weak point for me in my fights, but now with Matt's help it won't be a problem anymore. I feel amazing! If you want to get in fighter shape, he can help you get there!
John Curry for his nutrition, fitness and business knowledge and guidance. And for helping Matt come up with new ways to push me to new levels!
My brother, Matthew, for always coming to save me when I need it, looking out for me and looking for new ways to help me improve my business!
Tom Oberhue and Michael Chapman, at Impact Jiu-Jitsu for all their professional guidance and mentoring as well as being two of the best BJJ and MMA coaches there are!
And last but not least, Matt Thornton of Straight Blast Gym for accepting me into your gym as a 15 year old girl and training me for many many years.
Without the above people I would not be the athlete, the fighter, the coach or even the person I am today. It is not possible for me to express how much I truly appreciate them!
